North & Middle Andaman District Police Conducts Series of Community Events to Promote Coastal Security Awareness

Mayabunder, May 8: In a proactive initiative to raise awareness on Coastal Security and to further strengthen the Police-Public bond, the North & Middle Andaman District Police organized a series of community engagement events across various Police Stations in the district.

Activities including a Cycle Rally, Bike Rally, Badminton Match, Volleyball Match, and Football Match were enthusiastically organized across various Police Stations in the district. These events witnessed active participation from the local public, particularly the youth, along with police personnel, creating an energetic and inclusive atmosphere. The primary objective was to spread awareness about the importance of Coastal Security and to encourage community involvement in safeguarding our maritime boundaries. Moreover, these events provided a valuable opportunity for informal interaction between the police and citizens, helping to break barriers and promote mutual understanding.

The N&MA District Police remain committed to enhancing community-oriented policing and ensuring the safety and security of the coastline through inclusive and participatory approaches. Such outreach programs are part of a broader effort to make policing more approachable, responsive, and community-driven.
