Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 30: Pursuant to the visit of the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, to G.B. Pant Hospital, ANIIMS, measures have been undertaken to further strengthen and streamline the patient registration system at the hospital with a view to facilitating patients and improving the overall management of patient flow.
Counter Category / Service
Counter No. 1: Inter-island referred patients; patients requiring medical examination; pregnant women; dialysis patients; chemotherapy patients; and patients who have completed Online Registration.
Counter No. 2: Senior citizens; hospital staff; persons with disabilities; and children.
Counter No. 3: New registration – Female patients.
Counter No. 4: New registration – Male patients.
Counter No. 5: Revisit-Male patients.
Counter No. 6: Revisit-Female patients.
Further, all six registration counters have been enabled with ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) facilities, facilitating digital identification and registration of patients and contributing towards efficient management of patient records and queues. Patients are encouraged to visit the hospital with their ABHA cards, which will facilitate the linkage of their health records with the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS), thereby supporting seamless access and management of healthcare information. The initiative forms part of the ongoing efforts of ANIIMS and G.B. Pant Hospital towards strengthening patient-centric healthcare services, improving service efficiency and enhancing the delivery and accessibility of healthcare facilities to the people of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
