Sri Vijaya Puram: On the occasion of World Allergy Week 2026, an awareness session focusing on the rising incidence of allergies among young children was organized at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Minnie Bay, on July 4, 2026, by Swasti Homoeo Clinic.
The session was conducted by Dr. Smriti Das, BHMS, MD (Hom.), who highlighted how the region’s humid climate, unique environmental allergens, and repeated exposure to local triggers make children in the Andaman Islands more susceptible to allergies compared to those on the mainland.
Dr. Das explained how constitutional homeopathic treatment aims to address the root susceptibility of the individual, offering a holistic approach for lasting relief. Following the awareness session, concerned parents interacted closely with Dr. Das, seeking expert advice and guidance for their children’s health.
