Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan 23: The Andaman Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee observed the 128th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Ji with great fervor and patriotism at the Congress Office in Port Blair.

Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 23: The Staff Selection Commission is going to conduct Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman(GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2025 from 04.02.2025 to 12.02.2025 at Sri Vijaya Puram Examination centre. The e-Admit Card of the candidates appearing for the examination will be made available 3-4 days prior to the scheduled examination date on the website of the Commission (https://ssc.gov.in / https://sscer.org).

The general public/consumers and Government Departments have been informed that the power supply will remain suspended at Tiger Feeder: Sippighat, Chouldhari, Port Mout, Ograbraj, Tushnabad, Namunaghar, Mithakhari, Hathi Tapu, Dundaspoint, Tirur on Jan. 25 from 8 am to 11 am for the maintenance work of HT & LT Line near Sippighat area under the jurisdiction of Sippighat Site Office.

Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 23: The vessel MV Campbell Bay will sail from Sri Vijaya Puram to Vizag on Jan. 24 at 1600 hrs. Embarkation of passengers will commence from 1400 hrs on Jan. 24. The embarkation of passengers will be closed one hour before the schedule time. Passengers reporting late will not be allowed to board the vessel.

Over 1500 MY Bharat Youth Volunteers to Join Padayatra Honouring Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Legacy

New Delhi, Jan. 22: On the occasion of Parakram Diwas, commemorating the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports, Smt. Raksha Nikhil Khadse, will undertake ‘Jai Hind Padyatra’ on 23rd January 2025 in Sri Vijaya Puram, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. This event, a tribute to the indomitable spirit of Netaji, will bring together 1500 MY Bharat Youth Volunteers and youth leaders in a celebration of India’s freedom movement and the enduring legacy of Subhas Chandra Bose.

The Padyatra will cover a scenic route of approximately 5 kilometres, starting from Flag Point and culminating at Netaji stadium, symbolizing the sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters. It will feature various activities to honour Netaji’s contributions and raise awareness about his vision for an independent and progressive India.
