Port Blair, June 27: The Department of Art & Culture, A&N Administration has invited applications from the Cultural Organizations of A & N Islands seeking financial assistance in the form of GIA for the year 2024-25. As per the GIA Notification, Grant-in-Aid @ Rs. 25,000/- each will be released to Cultural Organizations with registered Office in Andaman & Nicobar Islands functioning with the objective of propagation of Art & Culture, National Integration and Communal Harmony and which are active in the field for a period not less than one year.

Port Blair, June 27: All concerned have been informed that a Division Bench comprising of Hon'ble Shri Jayesh V. Bhairavia, Judicial Member and Hon'ble Shri Suchitto Kumar Das, Administrative Member shall hold Circuit Sitting at Port Blair, w.e.f. 01.07.2024 to 05.07.2024 (both days inclusive) and another Division Bench comprising of Hon'ble Shri Rajnish Kumar Rai , Judicial Member and Hon'ble Shri Anindo Majumdar, Administrative Member shall hold Circuit Sitting at Port Blair w.e.f 08.07.2024 to 12.07.2024 (both days inclusive).

Port Blair, June 27: A two-days Hindi workshop commenced today at the Training Centre, Department of Official Language Department for the newly appointed Lower Grade Clerks of various Departments/Offices of the A&N Administration. The workshop was inaugurated by the Secretary (Official Language), Dr. Anil Agarwal.

Port Blair, June 27: The Department of Food Safety, A&N Administration had published the result of the candidates who had appeared for the CBT Examination held on 31st August, 2023 for the post of Food Safety Officer which was uploaded in the portal http://erecruitment.andaman.gov.in/crap on 24th Dec, 2023.
The Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunal, Kolkata Bench, Circuit Bench at Port Blair vide order dated 12th Feb, 2024 in the matter of OA No. 351/00161/2024 (Mr. Nasir-Vs- UoI & Ors) had directed the Respondents to constitute a committee of experts to scrutinize the correctness of the answer keys.
